Planning a half-term visit for a child who finds busy or noisy places difficult? Here is some information that may help.

Fang-tastic Fun Farm (24th–31st October) is a family Halloween event with costumed characters and decorations, rather than a scare attraction. Our Low Noise Fireworks in November are designed to be quieter than a traditional display.

To help you plan:
Children's ear defenders and sensory bags are free to borrow at check-in.
Fast-track entry and familiarisation sessions can be booked in advance.
Our sensory story, and photos or videos of the site, are available before you visit.
Afternoons from 2pm are usually quieter.
Fang-tastic wristbands let you leave and come back during the day.
One free carer ticket is available per eligible visitor, including through the Nimbus Access Card.

Some areas of the farm have steep or uneven paths. If you would like to talk anything through, please call 01905 964 955. You can also find us on Euan's Guide.

For our fireworks event, we have a number of provisions in place to help make your visit as enjoyable as possible:

Fast-track entry
Fast-track entry is available for visitors who may find queuing difficult. This must be arranged in advance by contacting [email protected].

Dedicated wheelchair viewing area
We have a separate viewing area for wheelchair users, providing improved visibility of the fireworks while helping visitors avoid some of the larger crowds.

Free ear defenders
Ear defenders are available to hire free of charge for visitors who may find the noise levels challenging.

Sensory bags
Sensory bags are available to hire free of charge for visitors who may benefit from additional sensory support.

Disabled parking
Dedicated disabled parking is available on site.

Disabled toilets
Accessible toilet facilities are available during the event.

We have created a Sensory Story of the Fun Farm to help visitors familiarise themselves with the environment, understand what to expect and prepare for their visit before arriving.

We understand that every visitor has different needs, and we encourage you to look through our accessibility information before your visit so you can plan ahead and feel comfortable knowing what to expect.

What a night! 🎃✨

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our very first Night in the Pumpkin Patch. Lanterns, laughter, music and a field full of pumpkins under the stars. We loved every minute, and we hope you did too!

We’re thrilled to say our second night on Thursday 23rd October is now sold out as well. Thank you for all your support, it means the world to us. 🧡

Half term goes a lot more smoothly when someone else has already planned the day. Even better when that plan involves a witch.

No witchful thinking required: here's everything you need to know about Fang-tastic Fun Farm, 24th–31st October:

🧙 Witches' Broomstick Academy: a 10-minute live show where trainee witches and wizards learn to fly (broomsticks provided)
🚪 Trick or Treat Street: knock on the doors, if you dare
🌽 Spooky Maize Maze, go karts, zip line, Fairy Trail and giant air bouncers
🐮 Farm animals to meet and Halloween crafts to make
🎃 Fancy dress very much encouraged
🎟️ One ticket covers it all (the Pumpkin Patch is ticketed separately but if you book them both together online, you'll save 25%)
🔁 Wristbands mean you can come and go through the day
🥾 Wellies recommended, and parking is free

Big on fun, little on fright. Availability is limited on the busiest days, so book ahead.

Tonight’s A Night in the Pumpkin Patch is officially sold out. Thank you to everyone who has booked tickets.

The lights are ready, the fire’s waiting for marshmallows and the field is looking rather lovely, if we say so ourselves.

Missed out? There are just a few tickets left for our final night on Friday 23rd October, 6pm–9pm.

Expect live acoustic music, roaming circus entertainers, street food, crumble pots, hot chocolates and Churchfields ice cream. Tickets are £8 per adult or child, with pumpkins, food and drink extra. Book soon to avoid disappointment.

The patch is open as usual during the day too. 🎃

This one's for anyone whose idea of a perfect autumn weekend involves a crackling woodburner, a muddy-booted walk and absolutely no alarm clock.

No itinerary, no rushing, just a slower pace and plenty of fresh air.

Our two cottages sit right on the edge of the farm. Overbrook Cottage sleeps six, with a woodburner and its own garden, and your nearest neighbours are a few Highland cows (very quiet, mostly).

Bay Tree Cottage is a cosy studio for two next door, with a patio garden and footpaths right on the doorstep. Both welcome one well-behaved dog, and you can book them together for a bigger family get-together.

The pumpkin patch, Fun Farm and The Cow Shed Café are a stroll away, so the weekend practically plans itself. 🍂

Hands up if your little one loves fireworks, but mostly from behind their fingers.

They want the whizz and sparkle. They'd just rather skip the bang.

Our Low Noise Fireworks are made for exactly that: all the colour and sparkle with a lot less boom.
It's a proper evening out, too. The Fun Farm opens in the afternoon, then there are circus skills with Shooting Stars Circus Academy, a meet and greet with The Doorstep Princesses, and a fire show before the sky lights up.

🎆 1st, 7th & 8th November: entry from 3pm, fireworks at 6.45pm
🎆 Friday 6th November: entry from 4pm, fireworks at 7.30pm

Remember, remember: low noise this November.
