Some highlights from the final day of our Free Summer Fun Afternoons, Driffield Up Up and Away.
Due to the weather, we had to make some slight adjustments. Puzzling Paul Bamboozled Entertainment performed three shows in the Methodist Hall at 1 pm/2pm and 3 pm. From 1:00 to 3:00 PM, we also had arts and crafts at Cass Hall with Kirsty from The Creation Station East Yorkshire, Driffield
We also had amazing face painting by Jenny and Jennie from Face Painting by Julie - Marie in the Driffield Town Council offices on Market Walk, and the ladies were kept very busy.
It was a fun-filled afternoon, despite the weather, and the children really enjoyed themselves.
Thank you again to the Councillors, Diana Lawton, who volunteered their time, and the Driffield ‘Tidy Team’ for setting everything up.
The events have now come to an end, but I would like to thank everyone involved:
The Creation Station East Yorkshire, Driffield, Face Painting by Julie - Marie, Mad Magic magic mike, Bamboozled Entertainment, First Steps Pre School Driffield, Driffield in Bloom, Driffield Town Council and the Councillors who volunteered. Diana Lawton and the Driffield ‘Tidy Team’. Thank you to the Methodist Church for coming to our rescue with the use of the hall.
The book trail ends this weekend. We hope you had fun doing it and enjoyed the Balloons. A big thank you to Andy Wilson from Driffield ‘Tidy Team’ who created them. Thank you to all the schools and organisations that decorated them, and to the businesses that participated in the trail. Thank you to The Little Book Emporium Driffield, Kiplingcotes Furniture and The Gift Shop Driffield for giving out the trail sheets and books. Thank you to Clickabook, who supplied the books.
Thank you to all the parents and the kids who got involved, and we hope you come back next summer!
