We always look for the positive, and being inside our little cafe looking out, is definitely a positive today.

We have hot food and drinks available til 3pm, and cheeky sweet treats if you need one.

We're definitely heading towards comfort food kinda weather, and if you fancy a great big dollop of our freshly made potato salad with your mushroom, cheese and rocket toastie, and no bacon on your lentil soup: that's no problem at all.

Today's quiche is the perfect combination of caramelised onion, broccoli and blue cheese.

The soup is a gluten free and vegetarian Lentil, served topped with bacon pieces.

We also have pork, pork and apple, and pork and hot honey sausage rolls all made with sausage meat from Alfie Murray's award winning butchers shop, just down the street from us.

Thank you to everyone who gave us apples, we have put them to good use!

Today we have:

-hot apple pie served with fresh cream.

-gluten and dairy alternative apple sponge cake.

-and an apple, blueberry and fig cake is out of the oven too.

Not in the mood for a sweet treat? No problem, try one of our freshly made pork and apple sausage rolls!

Everything is available to sit-in or take-away.

The season's are changing. It's getting dark and damp, and so many vegetables are thriving.

Today's soup is mushroom, served with fresh wheaten or gluten free bread. Why not make it a combo with your favourite sandwich or toastie.

We have two quiche options just out of the oven: caramelised onion, broccoli and blue cheese, or Ballymaloe relish, pulled ham, spinach and a punchy mature cheddar.

Open til 4pm - hot food til 3pm - Tuesday to Sunday.

Our soup today is tomato and roast red pepper, and we have beef stew made this morning too.

We serve hot food til 3pm ,and we're here til 4pm.

While Simon has been busy making coffee and tea downstairs, Roy has been busy upstairs in the kitchen.

He has a choice of quiche made: Bacon, spinach and cheddar cheese, or caramelised red onion, swiss chard and matured cheddar.

Our soup today is butternut squash and chili, and Roy is upstairs finishing off today's beef stew.

If you're getting hungry, it'll all be downstairs before you get here!

Even the hussle and bussle of our busy cafe couldn't keep this pair awake!

It's always a highlight of our day to see Clemie and Beau call in, and in the blink of an eye they'll be ordering hot chocolate and tray bakes for themselves.

We can't wait!!
