Our History After Dark nights have been a huge success at Denvir's of Downpatrick.....with brilliant local historians bringing the past to life in a way that’s entertaining, fascinating and anything but a traditional history lecture. It’s a night out with a difference!

So, we are delighted to announce that we are planning to make History After Dark a monthly event! 🎉

Much has been written about the Belfast Blitz and there are many images of the damage wrought on the buildings of the City.

But what about the victims. The individuals who lost their lives.

Little is known about them, their families, and the circumstances when tragedy befell them.

In this fascinating talk by Alan Freeburn, we will come to know many of those who died, how they met their end, and what they left behind. In so doing we will honour their memory.
