Is Monday for Gorgonzola or coffee… or both?
We’re open 10–3 today and ready to ease you into the week, whether you’re craving something rich and indulgent or just a really good cup of coffee.

A quick heads-up: after a super busy day yesterday (thank you, Mabel The Bakery , for another brilliant market), it may take us a little time this morning to get the shelves and fridges fully restocked.

Bear with us—we’ll have everything looking lovely again as soon as we can.

Last night’s cheese and wine tasting at Watatunga was something special.

Sometimes my job takes me to the most incredible places, and honestly, it doesn’t get much better than this.

A huge thank you to Watatunga for hosting us, and to everyone who came along and made it such a brilliant evening.

And of course, none of it would have been possible without our amazing deli team, who worked so hard behind the scenes to bring it all together. Also, a special mention to my husband for keeping everyone’s glasses topped up… perhaps a little too enthusiastically.🤣

There’s something about looking back at these old photos of our shop front that really stops you for a moment.

Different names, different businesses, different people behind the doors… all standing in the very same spot we are today.

It makes you realise how fleeting it all is. We’re only ever here for a moment in time, doing our best to build something, serve our community, and make it all work.
I often find myself wondering… did they have the same worries we do now? The same early mornings, the same quiet days, the same hopes that people would walk through the door?
It’s comforting, in a way, to feel part of that long story. Just another chapter in this little corner’s history.
And for now, it’s our turn.
