For a long while now I've only bought second hand clothing.
I am trying to do my bit by no longer buying any fast fashion or new clothing... (apart from un**es of course).

And my new mission is trying not to purchase anything that's not organic too. I don't want to be wearing plastics!

So I'm soon going to be getting rid of ALL my old clothing. I have literally got about a thousand items of clothing... I've been a hoarder of it for 35 + years.

Now then.
As much as we love to eat wholesome, non processed, organic, wholefoods as much as possible.
Of course we still enjoy the odd "naughty" snack. We just keep it to a limit.
We find a ratio of about 80/20 is realistic for us.
Highly processed foods and drinks are extremely rare indeed.
And of course... We never, ever eat meat, dairy, fish, eggs or honey!

And these are ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!

Finally!🎉 We're back open for 2026. We can't wait to see you all at our animal sanctuary in Ashford, Kent! The weather is looking lush for the rest of the week ☀️ It's going to be perfect to walk around, meet our animals, do some shopping in our supermarket, thrift shop and gift shop and get a tasty lunch at our cafe.

At our sanctuary:

How lucky can you get??
Not only was on fire. Her voice is nothing short of perfection! Her show was outstanding.
And then it happened... The very thing I was to scared to believe could happen, actually did.
made a guest appearance! 👀❤️😱😜😍.
I actually cried. And cried again and again, it was so emotional.
I couldn't hold the camera I was shaking so much!
Our dream came true.
And he was AMAZING! (initial microphone malfunction, quickly amended).
Quite possibly our best ever weekend away! I'm still pinching myself.
Now roll on May 8th when we go to see in London.

9 years ago yesterday I changed the way I lived.
I chose to become Vegan 🌱
I was nervous, convinced I'd likely fail and thought I'd be constantly feeling like I was sacrificing so many things I loved. But I'd seen too much... I had no choice. I had to align my morals with my actions.
9 years on and there's not one day that goes by that I don't thank my lucky stars that I made this choice.
It's not hard, there is no sacrifice, I don't miss anything. I stay focused on the reason I came to this decision.
The animals... Their suffering is why I'm trying to be better.
Vegan for the animals. First last and always 🌱
