Some of you may have already noticed that the stall is no longer on the seafront. It is with great sadness that we share that we have made the difficult decision to close the business and will not be returning.
Many factors were involved in this decision. We had hoped to be able to sell the business on to someone else who could continue offering seafood to the people of Dover. We did receive a number of enquiries from people interested in continuing to operate in the same location. Unfortunately, this was not possible. Dover Harbour Board required the stall to be removed and stated that any new contracts would need to be located on the Marina Curve, as they wish to increase footfall in that area of the seafront. Sadly, this proved to be a non-viable option for those who enquired about taking it on.
We have loved so much about the last 10 years and are incredibly grateful to everyone who supported us along the way. Your loyalty, kind words, and familiar faces meant the world to us.
On a happier note, I am now moving forward in a different direction. As a Registered Veterinary Nurse of 17 years, I am working part-time in a local clinic and also offering cat-sitting services and mobile services such as nail trims in clients’ homes 🐱😊
Thank you again to everyone who supported our small business over the years — it truly meant everything to us.
