Introducing our festive menu at The Lord Nelson 🎉

If you're sick of the same old dry turkey and stiff sit-down dinners, we've got you sorted.

From the 23rd November, our winter menu is in full swing down at The Nelson and we will turn the whole place into an après-ski chalet.

Think hot Camembert, proper porchetta with crackling, garlic picanha, and big sharing boards built for a proper night out with a drink in your hand.

From the last week of November, we’re transforming the pub into a full-on winter ski chalet!

Expect the best Christmas parties, cosy lodge vibes, serious comfort food, and live music every single Friday and Saturday night 🎸🎤

The star of our new winter menu will be The Festive Sharing Platter.

It’s packed with slow-roasted porchetta with proper crackling, b***d stuffed turkey leg, sticky marmalade-glazed gammon, garlic picanha, homemade pigs in blankets wrapped in bacon, smashed sprouts with crispy pancetta, goose fat potatoes, and rich bone broth gravy! 🤤

Here’s a teaser of what else is on the menu:

🧀 The Alpine Melt & Pickle Board – Whole molten baked Camembert with warm garlic butter flatbread

🍟 Jäger Loaded Fries – Skin-on fries smothered in rich, creamy mushroom Jäger sauce & melted cheese
