Ohhhhhh yes, you know what time it is... we're back!!

How was your TT? Back-to-back virtually undisrupted racing, unlimited pints of beer at Bushys and trackside (until we saw our bank account), a heat wave - and that wasn't just because Channing Tatum was over and just to make it even worse... no chilli wing night at the Ellan Vannin Hotel 😩

But don't worry, we're back next month to help overcome your TT blues with our next chilli wing night. As good as ever, providing all the hot sauces (and all the pints of milk - boys you know who you are) for you to *enjoy* on the first Monday of July.

We are hiring!

The Ellan Vannin Hotel is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Head of Bar and Restaurant to oversee Yankees Restaurant.

As the Head of Bar and Restaurant, you will be responsible for managing the hotel's restaurant and bar operation, purchasing and inventory management, staff training, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

We are looking for someone with a creative approach to the restaurant, who can think outside the box and bring fresh ideas to the table. The ideal candidate will have effective hands-on management and leadership skills, the ability to multitask and work in a busy, fast paced environment and a passion for customer service in the food and beverage industry.

Requirements:
Previous Bar and Restaurant experience.
Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance best practices.

This is a full-time position, 4 days per week, Thursday - Sunday. We can be flexible for the right candidate.

We offer a competitive salary, 50% discount in Yankees, and a friendly, welcoming work environment.

WANT FREE PARKING IN DOUGLAS?

Visiting us on a Saturday or Sunday and struggling to find a free parking space? Don't worry, we have you covered.

If you park in Chester Street Car Park over the weekend we will reimburse you for your ticket. The amount paid will be taken off your bill and you can claim one ticket per table.

Just make sure you press YES when asked do you require a receipt and bring it with you. You must bring your receipt for this offer to be valid.

The reimbursement is for a maximum of £2.70 on a Saturday and £2 on a Sunday.
