While our kitchen needs just a little more time before it’s ready, the bar will be open and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back for a well-deserved drink.

Head Chef – The Royal Oak, Stonebridge

The Royal Oak is a busy, community-focused country pub serving fresh, seasonal food in a warm and welcoming environment. We’re looking for an experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen and help drive our food offering forward.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll lead a small team, maintain high standards, and deliver quality pub classics alongside exciting seasonal specials.

What we’re looking for:

* Previous Head Chef experience (or an experienced Sous Chef ready to step up)
* Passion for fresh, quality food
* Strong leadership and organisational skills
* Excellent knowledge of food safety and kitchen management
* Calm under pressure with a positive, team-focused attitude

Your responsibilities:

* Lead the day-to-day running of the kitchen
* Manage stock, ordering and GP
* Maintain excellent food hygiene and HACCP standards
* Develop seasonal menus and daily specials with management
* Deliver consistently high-quality food and service

What we offer:

* £36,000–£42,000 per year (depending on experience)
* Live in available if required.
* Generous tips
* Full-time, permanent position
* Supportive working environment with opportunities to shape the menu
* The chance to be part of an exciting and growing country pub
