Who else completely loses their appetite in this heat? I've survived the last few days on ice cold smoothies and fruit salads - luckily we're fully stocked in both! If you're feeling the heat and need something refreshing to get your teeth into, pop in tomorrow. We'll have a choice of our health spinach, avocado and coconut smoothie, or fruity berry & pineapple smoothie. As well as fresh delivery of fruit, berries and I'll get some melon sliced up and in the fridge with a wedge of lime ready for you to enjoy! Stay cool and stay hydrated everyone!

H E A T W A V E
Boy it's warm out there! The occasinal breeze is pleasant and beach-like but when it's still it's so so hot, especially for us blonde, fair-skinned types!

Over the weekend we'll be adding homemade lemonade to our list of chilled drinks...alongside proper ice-cream and real fruit milkshakes (we don't use those frappe thickening powders or fruit syrup substitutes in ours!), smoothies and iced coffees.

We've also got daily fresh stocks of an abundance of fruit. Buy a selection and make a refreshing fruit salad. A perfect breakfast/lunch subsitute if your appetite dips in the heat, and a great way to stay hydrated.

Open 8:30am -2pm Tuesday to Saturday.

L U N C H
Everyone knows us for our fresh, tasty food so did you know we've decided to bring back some of our lunch options in a handy grab-and-go style (all packaged in biodegradable packaging). Salads, sandwiches, filled croissants, soup, quiche, sausage rolls and more. Options vary daily and are posted each morning on Twitter. Want to reserve something? After a fresh delivery today our new deli fridge is fully stocked with a great selection of British cheese. I've always championed British cheese and it's now more important than ever to support these (often small, family-based) industries.

Currently in-stock:
-Baron Bigod (as close to a good Brie-de-Meaux as you can get!)
- Bath Soft
- Cornish Yarg - popular with many
- Montgomery cheddar - a British classic
- Spenwood - a malty, mushroomy ewe milk cheese
- Truffle Pecorino (not British, but amazing!)
- Wyfe of Bath (Organic Gouda-style)
- Westcombe Smoked (a traditional Somerset smoked cheddar)
- Sparkenhoe Red (the only Red Leceister I'll eat!)

We'll be closed this Thursday for the final stage of our shop fit (thank goodness! - I'll be glad to get my weekends back!) D E L I V E R I E S
It has become apparent that a few shielding customers have seen the latest news updates and assumed we have stopped deliveries. This is not the case. We are continuning with deliveries throughout the summer at the very least. If you know a vulnerable/sheilding household who would like to try us for their groceries, please put them in touch. Phase 1 of our transformation is complete. Our fresh fruit and veg section is looking splendid and beautifully colourful. We'll be posting regular recipes that inspire us and hopefully inspire you too...starting with artichoke, which will be a fresh new seasonal addition to our range tomorrow. Thank you for all your patience and support so far. I know changes in our opening hours and trading style have been challenging on occassion but we're getting there! Two more major changes on their way and then we'll have a really beautiful store that we hope you enjoy using and supporting. Please remember that we're not doing this for fun - we're doing it to survive. Many more local shops are due to open in the coming weeks and we're all in the same boat on very turbluent seas. Please remember that we're all here and continue to use us as much as you can. Thank you.

With another sunny bank holiday weekend ahead, now is the time to preorder a box for the weekend and with the sun shining our salad box is perfect for light lunches, sandwich fillings and BBQ accompaniments.
