We’ve got a part-time front counter position available at Rumbles Fish Bar.

The role is mainly evening work, usually around 4/5pm until 9pm, across most days of the week.

You’ll be helping with taking orders, serving customers, handling payments, packing orders, and keeping the front area clean and organised.

Experience in a takeaway, fast food, retail, or customer service role would be helpful, but it’s not essential. We’re mainly looking for someone friendly, reliable, well-presented, and comfortable dealing with customers.

To apply, message the page with a short introduction, any experience or CV if you have one, and your availability.

We’re pleased to say we’ve now started frying this year’s new potatoes at Rumbles Fish Bar!

Many of you have been asking us when we’d be changing over, so we know plenty of our customers have been looking forward to them. We only switch when the quality is right. Fresh new season potatoes make beautifully golden chips that are fluffy on the inside and crisp on the outside.

There’s nothing quite like fish and chips made with new potatoes. Pop into Rumbles Fish Bar in Donington and taste them for yourself!

There’s nothing quite like the smell of fresh fish hitting the fryer or the sound of golden chips coming out crisp and hot.

At Rumbles, we take pride in doing things properly, real food, cooked fresh every day, with portions that satisfy and flavour that keeps people coming back.

Whether it’s flaky cod, a flame-grilled kebab, or crispy fried chicken, everything leaves the counter the way it should: hot, generous, and made with care.

If you’re passing by, you’ll know exactly where that smell’s coming from — we’ll have your order ready.

You’ll find us right next to the Co-op on the A52, serving seven days a week.
If you fancy something fresh, hot, and properly cooked, call or visit www.rumblesdonington.com, we’ll take care of the rest.

Back-to-school evenings can be full on, and sometimes tea is one job too many. We’d love to help make things easier with something fresh, filling and comforting for the whole family. 💛

For the next seven days, we’re giving 30% OFF all Kids Meals — a little boost as everyone settles back into routine. They come with chips, a Fruit Shoot, and your child’s choice of sausage, doner meat, nuggets, or fried chicken.

While the kids enjoy their favourites, you can tuck into cod & chips or a juicy chicken shish kebab. Everything is cooked fresh to order, portions are generous, and service is always friendly (with a 5-star food hygiene rating).
