There was a serious car accident on Saturday 25th June. Our deep gratitude to South Yorkshire Police Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust & Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council for not only saving the lives of the occupants of the car but making safe the terrible structural damage caused to our Grade II Listed Building.
Luckily we were closed at the time of the incident as on a normal raceday there would have been numerous people sat on the lawn & in the now destroyed ladies toilets.
Please drive safely - this is the 3rd accident in 6 months & our maintenance man is getting tired of rebuilding the fence.

£436 Was the final total raised at the Indus Restaurant with a brain teasing quiz organised by Carole Holdridge of Wild Orange. The different curries accompanied with the best Onion Bargie I've ever tasted and a quiz were ingredients for a brilliant evening. Both Chewy and Paul can't thank you enough Carole, and hope you can arrange something again soon. My mouth is watering at the just the thought.
