This week, we have Stancill Brewery Flapjack, an oaty pale ale with an ABV of 4.0%.

Often used to give body to darker ales, naked oat malt is used in this pale brew to give Flapjack fullness and texture. A double blend of English hops adds delicate grassy aromas and light apricot flavours to the oaty base.

Flapjack is a wholesome, delicious and very drinkable pale ale.

❗️❗️❗️REDUCED ACCESS INTO THE PUB❗️❗️❗️

The Environment Agency are carrying out some work to the flood wall to maintain the integrity of the flood defences and current levels of protection going forward.

They will require access to the land in front of pub, and as part of the works they will need to erect a fenced off area to carry out the work safely. This will cover the land in front of the pub, the side of the pub along the wall and will restrict access to the main entrance of the pub.

Currently the work is due to start on Wednesday 23 September 2026, and it is anticipated that it will take approximately 8 weeks to complete.

This week, we haveStancill Brewery Bavaria, a Golden Ale with an ABV of 4.5%.

Brewed from a four-hop blend based on the fine ‘Mandarina Bavaria’ German hop, Bavaria is a moderate strength golden ale with plenty of bitterness, balanced against sweet notes of mandarin and tangerine. Prost!

This week, we have Stancill Brewery Secret Potion, a Pale Ale with an ABV of 4.0%.

First brewed in 2017, Secret Potion returns every Autumn as a seasonal guest ale. Secret Potion has plenty of zest thanks to the prominent Citra hop, pleasant floral aromas and a very pretty pump clip, making it one hell of an irresistible pint!

This week, we have the long awaited return of Stancill Brewery No7 English Pale Ale with an ABV of 4.3%.

No.7 is a traditional English pale ale with bags of malty character topped with a smooth, creamy head. One of Stancill's earliest brews perfected over time, No.7 is enjoyed by all those seeking a familiar and consistently good pint.

GOLD in category at the Barrow Hill Rail Ale Festival 2021 and 2026.

This week we have Stancill Brewery Olicana, a British Hopped Pale with an ABV of 4.3%

This is an eponymous single-hop brew highlighting the modern British Olicana® hop developed by Charles Faram.

Primarily an aroma hop, Olicana has a vibrant, fruit-forward aroma profile but still delivers a deliciously clean and soft bitterness.

As ever, Stancill are proud to be able to support British hop farmers while simultaneously reducing our environmental impact associated with using imported varieties.
