Birkdale is Stancill's happy summer pale to mark The 154th Open which was held on the 12 - 19 July at Royal Birkdale.

Golf fanatics and golf widows alike will love this refreshing, moreish beer with it's balanced two-hop blend. Enjoy a pint or two after a round, or with any other non-golf related activity!

This week, we have Stancill Brewery Summer Breeze, a Summer Pale Ale with an ABV of 4.2%.

The 2026 edition of Summer Breeze has been created with the vibrant American Cascade hop for a symphony of citrus and stone fruit flavours. This year's Summer Breeze is a delightful pale ale and a perfectly refreshing summer pint.

This week, we have two Guest Ales to choose from; Stancill Brewery Tom's Mild and Stancill Brewery Brewery Golazo.

Tom's Mild is the original mild with an ABV of 3.4%.
A smooth, creamy, ruby red dark mild with a fruity palate, nutty biscuit note which is characteristically sweet, with a gentle late hop aroma. Well balanced, moreish and extremely drinkable.

Golazo is an El Dorado Hopped Pale with an ABV of 4.4%
This Mexico-inspired beer is bold, fruity and, with an aroma profile of pineapple, peach and melon, you'll be able to experience the tropics! Appropriately golden in colour and spotlighting the El Dorado hop, Golazo has vibrant tropical fruit flavours just perfect for summer.

This week, we have Stancill Brewery Canuck, a Columbus Hopped Pale with an ABV of 4.0%.

Borrowing from the affectionate slang term for "Canadian", Canuck may not contain Canadian hops, but, given that seven matches will be held in British Columbia and this beer does contain plenty of Columbus hops - (both named after the famous explorer!), we say this ale is definitely "Canada inspired!" A wonderfully woody and resinous ale, with a lemony signature that Columbus hops are known for.

This week, we have Stancill Brewery Rutherford, a Willamette Hopped Pale with an ABV of 4.2%.

Named for the location of the stadium that will host the World Cup final in East Rutherford, New Jersey, and featuring Willamette hops. Well known for being an all-American classic, the Willamette hop also lends itself well to traditional English brews such as this, delivering a complex of earthy herbal notes and hedgerow fruits that doesn't overpower the malt. The result is smooth and balanced.

This week we have Stancill Brewery Ruby Mild, a warm and fruity mild with an ABV of 4.9%.

It's been over five years since Stancill have brewed a Ruby Mild. This one is ruby red in colour with a strong nuttiness and flavours of berries. A velvety mouthfeel of melted milk chocolate make this a luxuriously pleasurable pint.

This week, we have Stancill Brewery American Pale, an American hopped Pale Ale with an ABV of 4.8%.

Cascade hops are the definitive hops used to produce American Pale Ale and this ale is no exception! Used here for aroma, enjoy lychee and floral characteristics. Excitingly, this beer also has a lovely shiny pump clip!
