It’s safe to say I’ve had the most wonderful seven years in Armthorpe, opening the doors to my tearooms and welcoming the loveliest, kindest people through them ☕️ From familiar faces who became friends to first-time visitors who left with a smile, every single person played a part in making this place what it became. The time spent on both sides of the counter - serving, chatting, laughing, and sharing stories - has truly been the very best part of running my family business.
What started as a dream grew into something far bigger than I could ever have imagined ✨ The tearooms became a place of warmth, comfort, and connection, and that is entirely down to the people who walked through the doors and supported us year after year. As I closed the door for the final time today, my heart couldn’t be more full ❤️ I feel nothing but gratitude for the love, loyalty, and kindness shown to us over these seven unforgettable years.
I want to say a heartfelt thank you to my family ❤️ From the very beginning, you were there through the long days, difficult moments, and joyful milestones. Your constant support, patience, encouragement, and belief in me made this journey possible. This was never just my dream - it was ours, and I will forever be grateful for everything you have given, sacrificed, and stood beside me through 🫶
A final HUGE thank you to my girls 🥂 From the moment you stepped into that kitchen, you brought not only hard work and dedication, but genuine care and kindness to everything you did. Day in and day out, you showed up with smiles, warmth, and compassion for everyone around you, and you helped create an atmosphere that people truly felt the moment they walked in. Working alongside you has been an absolute dream, and I will forever be thankful for the memories, the laughter, and the bond we built together 💕
Though the doors may now be closed, the memories will stay with me always ✨ Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, to every single person who was part of this journey, it has meant more than words can ever fully express 🤍
