FOOD TRUCK FRIDAY IS BACK 🇮🇹

What better way to kick off the Bank Holiday weekend than with some fabulous Sicilian food and a pint or two. 🍺🇮🇹

We’re delighted to welcome Bedda Italian Street food to the village this evening, serving up their Mediterranean-inspired food from around 5pm.

It’s been a little while since we’ve had a food truck here, so it would be great to see plenty of people come down and give them a try.

Fingers crossed the weather stays fine, but if not — grab your food and bring it inside the pub or take it home.

My friend Steve is over visiting from Australia and has been along to a few of our quizzes since he arrived. After seeing how we do things, he asked if he could have a go at setting one himself.

So this Tuesday, Steve takes over as our guest quiz master!

Slightly disappointed this morning to find that the games boxes we only put out on Friday have already had things ‘go missing’ from them.

They’re there for people to enjoy while having a drink in the pub, not to take bits home and enjoy elsewhere!

It is an additional thing for people to use and enjoy, but it only works if everything stays in the boxes for the next person.

Sunday carvery at The Blue Bell today with Kara Kooks serving from 12pm.

On today we have Roast Beef, Gammon and Turkey, with Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes, veg, gravy and all the trimmings.

Kara has already got a few larger tables booked in today so availability is a bit more limited. If you’re thinking of coming down it’s probably best to give her a call and get a table booked rather than just turning up.

Happy 21st Birthday to Heath today! 🎉

Heath has been part of pub life since he was about 10, from pot washing and waitering to eventually getting behind the bar and serving pints!
