🏇 ST LEGER FESTIVAL 2026 AT THE SAL! 🏇

Doncaster is celebrating a HUGE milestone this year! 250 years of the St Leger!

You already know we’re getting involved. 🍻

We’ve got four days of racing, live music, DJs, karaoke and plenty of reasons to celebrate:

🥂 THURSDAY 10TH — LADIES DAY
🎧 DJ Party & Karaoke from 6pm ’til late

🎸 FRIDAY 11TH — GENTS DAY
Live music from BUCKET LIST from 7:30pm

🏇 SATURDAY 12TH — ST LEGER DAY
🎧 DJ from 5pm then until late after the band
🎶 PRIDAY live from 8pm

🍽️ SUNDAY 13TH — SUNDAY FUNDAY
Finish the week with 25% OFF our Sunday Dinners

The St Leger has been part of Doncaster since 1776, and The Sal has been around for almost all of it…

We’ve seen a few Legers. 😉

WE’VE SEEN A FEW ST LEGERS… 🏇

1776 — The first St Leger is run in Doncaster.
1779 — The Salutation opens its doors.
1840s — Thoroughbred horses are being bought and sold outside The Sal during Race Week.
2026 — Doncaster celebrates 250 Years of the St Leger.

And we’re still here. 🍻

This September, we’re celebrating 250 years of one of Doncaster’s greatest traditions, so over the next few days we’ll be revealing what we’ve got planned for St Leger Week at The Sal.

It’s going to be a big one. 🏇🍺
