We’re Back! ❤️

Mathew and I are now back from our holiday, feeling refreshed and ready to share our full new menu with you all.

If you’re looking for somewhere warm, welcoming and relaxing, with a beautiful lounge area set within lovely woodland surroundings overlooking Sprotbrough Cricket Ground, then look no further than the Ivanhoe.

Our new menu is packed with delicious, tasty dishes, alongside a refreshing choice of drinks — from traditional bitters and lagers to wines, sparkling wine, cocktails, soft drinks and, of course, our alcohol-free ale.

And then there’s our Sunday Service… 🍽️
No carvery queues, no rushing around — simply come in, take your seat and let us take care of you. A proper traditional Sunday lunch, served to your table. Sounds perfect, doesn’t it?

We are on the lookout for a permanant Bartender with experience of working in bar/customer services, money handling with ideally the knowledge of a busy working kitchen.

Few hours available and to be discussed due to the pub becoming busier - you must be flexiable to work a week day and a weekend shift every week and to help cover sickness and holidays.

We are looking for someone who is friendly, reliable and trustworthy that can work alone or part of a team with a positive attitude. Will suit mature person looking for extra income.

- Experience is prefered
- We do require barstaff to be 18+.
- Suit local person
- Own transport advantage due to semi-rural area and restricted bus service in the evenings.
- On site parking.

We just wanted to pop on and say HI to all our lovely customers! 👋🥰

We hope you’re not missing us too much while we’re enjoying a few more days in the glorious sunshine ☀️🍹 — but don’t worry, we’ll be back before you know it!

Nut Brown Ale

Brewed with well water the original well at the Old Brewery, sunk in 1758, is still in use, with the hard well water being drawn from 85 feet underground); best barley malt, yeast and aromatic hops; fermented in ‘stone Yorkshire squares’ to create a relatively dry ale with rich nutty colour and palate of beech nuts, almonds and walnuts.

5% ABV

Best served at about 55°F (13°C).
Ingredients • water, malted barley, yeast, cane sugar, hops, carbon dioxide.
Registered with The Vegan Society; suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
