We’ve been a little quiet on the events front lately… but don’t worry, we’re back with a bang this Friday!

Kara Kooks returns to the Brass Lamp from 5pm with a fantastic Pop-Up Mexican Night. Expect homemade burritos, loaded nachos and plenty more, all freshly prepared and packed with flavour.

To add to the atmosphere, I might even dust off the record player and see if I can find a few Mexican classics. There must be a bit of Tijuana Brass hiding somewhere in the collection… if not, we’ll just have to improvise! 🇲🇽🎶

Great food, great beer and a few tunes to get the weekend started. What more do you need?

🎶 Jam Session Tonight at The Brass Lamp 🎶

Thursday’s rolled around again, which means Roger’s back from 7pm for another evening of live music.

If you play an instrument, bring it along and get involved. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a regular or it’s your first time – everyone’s welcome. Guitar, banjo, mandolin, harmonica, bass, fiddle, cajón… if it makes a noise, bring it!

If playing isn’t your thing, come down anyway, grab a pint and enjoy the music. It’s always a cracking atmosphere and a great way to spend a Thursday evening.

🎶 Thursday means one thing… Jam Session.

Roger’s back with us from 7pm tonight, so if you’ve got an instrument gathering dust, give it an outing. Guitar, banjo, fiddle, harmonica, ukulele, cajón… whatever you play, bring it along.

Not a musician? No problem. Grab a pint, find a seat and enjoy the music. There’s always a good mix of tunes, plenty of laughs and you never quite know what’s going to happen.

Brass Lamp Jamming Night 🎸

What better way to celebrate than with an evening of live music?

Join Roger from 7pm for our weekly Jamming Night. Bring along a guitar, ukulele, harmonica, banjo, cajón, tambourine, mandolin, or whatever instrument you enjoy playing.

Not a musician? No problem. Grab a beer, find a seat and enjoy the music instead.

Hopefully there’ll be a few Beatles classics making an appearance throughout the evening.

Finish off Father’s Day with our weekly General Knowledge Quiz from 6.30pm, with Jon back in the chair this week.

If you’re still deciding what to do this evening, why not round off the weekend with a few drinks and a bit of friendly competition? There’s no need to be a quiz genius and you can play on your own, as a pair or as a team.

We’ve got some great beers on the pumps this week and plenty of other favourites behind the bar, so settle in and make a night of it.

Always a relaxed and enjoyable way to finish the weekend.
