A very fond farewell to Angie ❤️

Tomorrow marks the end of an era for our deli, as the lovely Angie hangs up her apron for the final time and begins a very well-earned retirement.

Angie has been part of the deli for many years — long before we arrived — and has been with us throughout the five years since we took over. She has been such a familiar face to so many of our customers and a much-loved part of the team.

And this lovely photograph rather perfectly sums up what comes next…

Angie is heading south to enjoy life with her partner, with plans to travel the world, relax, have adventures and, most importantly, enjoy having rather more time for herself after so many devoted years of working.

We’d simply like to say a huge thank you, Angie, for everything you’ve given to the deli and to all the customers you’ve looked after along the way. We wish you both an absolutely wonderful retirement and many, many happy adventures ahead. 🥂

Tomorrow is Angie’s final day with us, so if you’re passing and would like to pop in and wish her well, we’d love you to come and say goodbye.

Here’s to the next chapter, Angie — enjoy every minute of it. ❤️

The verdict is in: ✅ CHEF APPROVED!
