Coach & Horses Barnburgh A grade II Public house built in 1937 by Whitworth, Son & Nephew of Wath-upon-Dearne. A must-visit when in the area.

After years of neglect, refurbishment works shall commence late March 2020 to bring this popular village community pub back to life. Located in the centre of this picturesque village near Doncaster, stands opposite the village church this grade II public house built in 1937 by Whitworth, Son & Nephew of Wath-upon-Dearne. Though giving years of pleasure to loyal thirsty villagers the then pub suffered in more recent times through lack of investment and neglect. Listed on the National Inventory of Historic Pub Interiors as it has remained largely unchanged for 80 years. In late 2019 a plan was agreed with the local heritage authorities to restore the pub to its former greatness of art décor grandeur. To be open in the summer of 2021, this community hub shall be welcoming for coffees to cocktails, bubbles to beer. Beer Garden & Terrace that is covered

It’s that time of year (our favourite) when the leaves change from green 🍃through yellow and 🍂🍁 brown; the harvest 🌾 time is here and all the countryside fruits are ripe for the picking.
What better time to introduce Hedgerow Cider.
This slightly sparkling and very refreshing drink with an amazing depth of colour, combines all of early Autumn’s wild berries, straight from the Great British countryside.
It’s going to fly out so get a pint or three this weekend.
