Coach & Horses Barnburgh A grade II Public house built in 1937 by Whitworth, Son & Nephew of Wath-upon-Dearne. A must-visit when in the area.

After years of neglect, refurbishment works shall commence late March 2020 to bring this popular village community pub back to life. Located in the centre of this picturesque village near Doncaster, stands opposite the village church this grade II public house built in 1937 by Whitworth, Son & Nephew of Wath-upon-Dearne. Though giving years of pleasure to loyal thirsty villagers the then pub suffe

red in more recent times through lack of investment and neglect. Listed on the National Inventory of Historic Pub Interiors as it has remained largely unchanged for 80 years. In late 2019 a plan was agreed with the local heritage authorities to restore the pub to its former greatness of art décor grandeur. To be open in the summer of 2021, this community hub shall be welcoming for coffees to cocktails, bubbles to beer. Beer Garden & Terrace that is covered

Thursday 9th July at 11.20pm this individual decided he would steal two large ‘London Essence’ branded parasols and we also suspect two large ‘Guinness’ branded parasols.

If the perpetrator can read this post we would like to congratulate you on your efforts and stealing from a already struggling independent family pub. Rest assured the police have the coverage as well as much more.

To anyone who may have information on whom this thieving pondlife scum is then please call the pub, call into the pub direct and see Dave or pm this page.

As a community please don’t leave anything out in your garden because its apparent that we cant have anything that benefits our lives without its being at risk.

We shall continue to offer a great service and pub to the village. We wont be beaten.

There will be footy shown inside and outside today for England’s game versus DRC. 🖥️⚽️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Again if it is busy please be patient with the staff. Children that are in for the match need to be always supervised by an adult.

Yes it will get loud as we all love to cheer and shout 🔈📣📢
Please be aware of our neighbours though, they live here too.

It’s Tuesday folks, that can only mean one thing.
QUIZ NIGHT here at The Coach & Horses Barnburgh.
With a few teams returning from their holidays we should be back to full compliment so the completion is higher.
Start time is 1930hrs but make sure you’re in early to get a seat.

As usual, freshly made and will be served to compliment our huge range of ice cold drinks.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿⚽️ Saturdays result sees England qualify as group winners and potential knockout games and times as follows. ⚽️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Under our Licencing parameters, all games will be shown on our TVs with one exception; Round of 16.

Round of 32 - Wed 1st July - 5pm
❌Round of 16 - Mon 6th July - 1am
Quarter Finals - Sat 11th July - 10pm
Semi Final - Wed 15th July - 8pm
3rd Place Play Off - Sat 18th July - 10pm
Final - Sunday 19th July - 8pm — We are all feeling optimistic that this could be our World Cup

As it is Saturday and a busier day in the pub, we ask that you be patient with the bar staff, also if your lucky enough for the staff to think you look under 25 you will get asked for ID. If you don’t have this available then you will not get served. Under 18’s need to vacate the premises at 2100hrs.

Please note: Due to licensing laws at The Coach & Horses Barnburgh. TVs outside will be turned off at 2100hrs and the outside area should be clear by 2200hrs.
