To all our lovely Hideout Followers!
This is one of the hardest posts and decisions I’ve had to write and accept but having had to dig deep over the past few months and needing to be honest with myself I felt the time was right for The Hideouts hatches to remain permanently closed after Sunday the 1st August. We started our journey in a world where life wasn’t as we knew it to be, living in a pandemic we wanted to give something back to our amazing community. We wanted to create a place where you could seek comfort on your outdoor adventure and yet be free whilst having some normality in the safest way possible. It has been a journey I’m so thankful for and an experience I will treasure always.
Our lovely customers, you have been an absolute pleasure to serve and the continued support from you has meant more than you will ever know. I’m still always blown away and overwhelmed by everyone’s kindness, comments and genuine love for Our Hidden Gem!
I want to take this opportunity to thank the girls working along side me, I have no words other than your truly Amazing! Becca Cranmer Chloe Mawer, Ruby Redfern! You not only gave up your time but you worked so so hard to help create something so beautiful and you were and are an incredible asset and credit to The Hideout!
I also want to thank Rhode bakery (Hatfield) who have continued to support us every weekend, it also meant so much for us to help support local business’s too and you have been fantastic. To my mum Helen Richards and Chris’s dad Nick who have baked there amazing homemade cakes week in, week out and played there role in supporting and making our Hideout grow! Your cakes are loved by so many and the time you have dedicated will always be appreciated. If your ever in need of brownies/blondies then be sure to check out Karla Jessop as your talent is incredible and I want to thank you for being amazing too!
Most importantly I want to Thank Cheryl Turner, we started this journey together! We weren’t quite sure where it would take us but we definitely created something so special and it’s been one hell of an amazing ride and I just want to thank you for riding it with me and most importantly for believing in me! You have and always will mean so much to me!
Even though this is sadly the end of The Hideouts journey we still have alittle time left yet. I would love if possible over the next few weekends for you to please come down and help us celebrate and create a few lasting precious memories that will complete our final chapter in what’s been such an incredible journey and help us close our hatches on even more of a high than it’s already been!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart! It’s because of you why we have loved what we have done over the past 7 months and I’ll forever be grateful to you all!
