☀️🔥 BREW BOX – HEAT UPDATE 🔥☀️
Unfortunately, as England has apparently decided to turn into the Bahamas 🇬🇧➡️🏝️, we’ve had to make the difficult decision to CLOSE WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY, with temperatures forecast to reach 30°C+ on both days.
As most of you know, Brew Box is tiny! Add coffee machines, ovens, fridges and all our other equipment into the mix and it gets VERY hot, VERY quickly. 🥵
We learnt the hard way during the heat in June that these temperatures make it extremely difficult to keep the shop — and most importantly our fridges — at the correct, safe temperature.
Before placing our stock orders this evening, we needed to make the call rather than risk wasting another load of fresh stock.
It definitely feels like our summers are getting hotter, and although this is the first year we’ve been seriously affected by the heat, we’ll be looking at what changes we can make going forward so hopefully this doesn’t keep happening in future summers.
For now though, unfortunately it can’t be helped. 😢
We’re really sorry for any inconvenience and, as you know, we absolutely hate having to close.
