Make us your base for all the adventures that North Wales and the Snowdonia National Park has to offer. The George III is part of an old railway station on the banks of the Mawddach estuary in Penmaenpool, close to Dolgellau and on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park. We’re right on the cycle path, that used to be the old railway track. That puts us within traffic free reach (by bike or on foo

t) of Barmouth and it’s golden sands. With so much to explore, it’s no wonder we’ve been a popular spot for cyclists, walkers, pub goers and dog lovers for generations. The George offers a great place to relax and unwind with a menu packed full of classic pub favourites and dishes created using only the best seasonal produce making us ideal whether stopping by after a long walk or ride or choosing a place to celebrate a special occasions.

Due to some of our lovely team members heading off to university, we are looking for a new member of our team.
Duties would include, bar work, waiting tables etc
We are looking for somebody who is reliable, trustworthy and has a passion for hospitality to join our like minded friendly team.
We can work around college hours etc

We are super dog friendly with 8 out of our 10 rooms being dog friendly and lots of places where your pooch can enjoy an evening meal with you as well!
