Only 7 weeks until we close permanently.
And because we are only open 4 days a week now, that equates to just 28 days 😱 (29 if you add today)
Just a reminder for anyone with vouchers that you haven't yet redeemed.....you are running out of time.

**Thank you, everyone. I bloody love you lot! You are all what makes it all worthwhile.....what has helped make this a special place in the hills. I couldn't have done it without your support ❤️❤️

I know I have been a bit quiet on here recently but I thought I would share this review that was put on Google this week, along with a photo of one of our offending average, overpriced sandwiches. This is tuna mayo and cucumber (there is a whole tin of tuna in there)....the plate is a dinner plate. We charge £8.25. I have paid the same, and more, for half the amount of food in some places. I am also well aware that we don't have a huge menu to choose from or fancy artisan breads.....we are a small tea room with a couple of part time staff and limited storage and work space. We keep things manageable.
Beware! We don't offer wifi at this location. No we don't offer wifi.....this is our home and we don't want everyone using our data just so that their little boy can disturb other customers while he watches cartoons (hence this gentlemans review.....I wouldn't give him our home wifi password) Talk to your children instead....it's much better for them.

Gripe over! 🥴

We have had a great weekend here at Tyddyn Mawr. Lots going on and lots of lovely people. I will post photos tomorrow but I just want to give a huge shout out and say thank you to Llechi Cymru - Wales Slate, Pete and John (The Limestone Cowboys), Wolves of the Sky, the stallholders on Saturday, Marilyn and Linda for being kitchen stars and doing a fantastic job of looking after customers, Dave, David, Arfon, Rob and Lynne and Abbie for helping with the marquee, tables and chairs etc., John for collecting and bringing fish and chips for all of us on Saturday evening, and of course everyone who came to one or more of the events.
This weekend would not have been possible without the help and support of so many good friends.....THANK YOU ❤️

*This has now been promised to a new home *
It has served us well over the years, but the marquee will be looking for a new home from the end of today. We'd like it to go to a community/church/scouts group that can make good use of it in return for a donation to the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
Yes, it has seen better days but still has plenty of life left in it.
If your group can use it, pop up later this afternoon and help dismantle it (will make it easier to put up again if you can see how it fits together) and take it away.
10m x 6m....will need a large car or a van.
