Calling all our Sunday People! ⚠

We really hate putting anything between you and your well-earned, delicious Angel Café breakfast but we wanted to give our lovely Sunday morning customers the heads up that we’ll be closed on Sunday 13 September for a spot of maintenance.

We just wanted to make sure that you had as much notice as possible – because we know how important it is to you!

We’d like to reassure you that it is only for Sunday 13 September and for one day only. It’s business (and breakfast - and lunch for that matter) as usual all other days.

We’re sorry for any inconvenience caused but we have a few jobs that need to be done.

Well this is exciting! 🤩 Calling all lovers of classic and vintage vehicles! 📣🚗🏍️🚌🚚

Join us on Sunday 20 September here on Fair Green in Diss for our first ever Festival of Transport! 🎉

Between 10am and 4pm we invite vehicle owners and vehicle enthusiasts to join us for a celebration and display of a wonderful array of two and four wheeled vehicles from the 1950s to 1990s - and maybe even beyond!

With live music, street food, dance displays and an auto jumble - it’s going to be a great event. Everyone is welcome!

Quiz Night at The Angel Café Diss!

Think you’ve got what it takes to be crowned quiz champions? Gather your cleverest friends, brush up on your trivia and join us for a brilliant night of questions, laughs, food and friendly competition at The Angel Café Diss on Friday 21 August at 6pm.

Book a table for 2, 4 or 6 people and settle in for a great evening, complete with a delicious Angel Café table buffet included in your ticket price of £15.

Teas, coffees and soft drinks will be available to buy from the Café on the night - and you’re very welcome to bring your own booze.

Whether you’re a quiz regular or just fancy a fun night out with friends, this is set to be a fantastic evening at the Café.

IMPORTANT CUSTOMER INFO DURING THE HEATWAVE ⚠️

Phew! It's a bit hot isn't it? 🥵

You know what they say, if you can't stand the heat then get out of the kitchen... except you can't when your job is to be in the kitchen!

So, for the comfort and safety of our team, we're reducing our cooking hours during the heatwave and we'll be stopping hot food at 12noon.

You can still enjoy the best breakfast in town in the morning, and we've plenty of goodies in our chiller for you to enjoy for lunch and throughout the afternoon (and cakes obviously!).

We'll just be keeping the burners and ovens off during the hottest part of the day for the duration of the heatwave to help keep our lovely team cool.

Could you be our new Café Manager?

We're looking for an experienced (full time) Café Manager for the Angel Café on Fair Green, Diss.

If you love serving up delicious home-cooked food, are passionate about hospitality and giving great customer service AND getting stuck in - then we'd love to hear from you!

Previous experience as a Café Manager is preferred but training can also be offered.
