A service and celebration to remember Penny McSheehy will be held on the 6th January 2023 @ Eye Community Centre. The service will start at midday. The family have asked for no flowers, anyone wishing to give a donation, can do so to Crisis (something close to Pennys heart) via Susan Whymark website. People wishing to leave a message,light a candle or share a photo, can also do this on the page for Penny. If you intend to attend please wear some colour.

This post is in loving memory of Penny McSheehy, who touched so many people's lives, and always in a positive way, everyone who met Penny, was touched by her kindness and the ability to see the best in everyone she met, always giving, never taking, and her dedication to the community she lived in, wherever she lived, knew no bounds. Without Penny's finacial and emotional support, and totally unfaulting belife in Diss Coffee House, Diss Coffee House would not have been born. It is with great sadness that we have to announce Penny passed away peacefullly at home, on Tuesday 8th November. May she rest in peace. Love you always and forever. Never forgotten 💖💖💕❤️❤️

I understand someone reposted our post from Friday up to the Community Page. Please can you explain why it was why was removed? I understand someone put an abusive reply post. Surely it would have been better to remove reply post rather than remove a post which was not offensive, only informative?

Recent actions by John Doe have led to many of the Diss Coffee House team suffering from stress and anxiety. We take the wellbeing and mental health of every member of the team very seriously. Based on this we will be closed today and will not be reopening again in the store.

We would like to say a huge thank you to all our Mere Street customers who followed us to the John Doe store, and there were many of you. To you, and all the wonderful new customers who became regulars, we thank you. Your support,kind words and great feed back means so much to every member of the team.

We don't know what the future holds for Diss Coffee House and only time will tell. We leave with our heads held high, unlike John Doe who should hang their heads in shame.

We would like to let our friends, facebook followers, that we are still trading from the John Doe store. Posts saying we would cease trading today were incorrect. We will still be serving our award winning coffee,pastries, pannis,delicious cakes and much more until futher notice. We look forward to seeing you and thank everyone for their support to date.....many many thanks.
