Bonjour A tous
Here is a good anecdote. This happened yesterday. A well know establishment gave me a phone call. I have known those people for more than thirty years.
Anyway, the lady in charge ask for a special request. It was a special request made by a bride to be.
The lady was asking me if I could cater for a wedding. I say no problem, depending on the number of people. She said that it was a group of thirty people. Perfect number. I say ok. But then the lady tells me that those 30 people are all vegan. I was laughing my head off on the phone. I let your imagination think about the answer I gave. :) . I say, why did you ask me to do such a thing? :) . And she replied because we don't want to do it ourselves. We were both laughing over the phone... My last words to her were "good luck" :)

Bonjour a tous
Great news, I have found some Veal Sweetbread. Trust me it is a very difficult product to find in UK . I will be able to do them with morels at the minute. It is a Killer dish! :)
I have another dish that it is not listed anywhere but on the menu we have inside the restaurant. If you want to know what it is, you will have to come.
Now, a lot of poeple are ringing here to ask me if we are still open.
Ok , HERE IS THE CLUE. While the website is live , YES La Chouette is open. The days that La Chouette is sold, I will kill the land line and the website. So for the moment , we are still open.

We are reopening today. The new menu has been uploaded on La Chouette website. Chistiane and I are now refreshed ( good to do nothing for three weeks) and ready to rock.

Hi Everyone.
Mussels and chips weekends, 10,11 October. 7,8 November
A small plate of smoked salmon, 1kg of mussels and chips and Mayonnaise and a crème brulee. The question is, will you finish your plate of mussels?? This is the dish that separate the man from the boys!  Price is £43.00 per person.

YEP, WE STILL HERE!
La Chouette is now on the market. That doesn`t mean that we are closed. Because of the weird way that The English are selling property, we will only close the restaurant after exchanging contracts. I will tell you all on this wall when this happen.
