The Cottage Bar & Restaurant Maryburgh The Cottage is a family-friendly bar, restaurant and function space at the heart of the Maryburgh community. We are Dog friendly in the bar.

Enjoy hearty Highland food, local drinks, events and celebrations, all set within spacious grounds — there’s something for everyone. Come and feast on homemade traditional pub food which is all sourced locally and at the same time appreciate the beautiful scenery of the large garden surrounding the building. If it's cold outside the tranquil views can be enjoyed from the conservatory where you can

enjoy warm food and beverages while watching the variety of different birds in the aviary . Once you have had your meal, why not savor a drink in the separate bar with many choices of beverages and comfortable seating with log burning stove on those winter nights. If there is a special occasion on the horizon, book your party in the function room which can hold up to 60 people. The Cottage Bar and Restaurant is easily accessible with no need to struggle with parking as there is a large car park on the premises.

Who’s got their team sorted for our Sophie’s Story Pub Quiz?

We’re getting ready for a brilliant night at The Cottage, raising money and awareness for Sophie’s Story and their mission to help build a dedicated children’s hospice right here in the Highlands.

💷 £5 per person
👥 Teams of up to 6

There’ll be a raffle on the night, prizes for our quiz winners and, perhaps even more importantly… a prize for the best team name! 🏆

You can register your team beforehand, or just round up your cleverest pals and join us on the night.

It’s a beautiful morning here in Maryburgh.

We’re open for lunch & drinks 12-2pm today, and this evening we are open for drinks only 🍻.

Our kitchen is closed briefly later today whilst we undertake some essential staff training.

🍻 Pub Quiz Night- Fundraising for Sophie’s Story ✨

We’re delighted to be hosting a Pub Quiz Night at The Cottage in support of Sophie’s Story ❤️

Sophie’s Story is a fantastic local organisation with an incredibly important mission- raising awareness and funds to help build a dedicated children’s hospice right here in the Highlands. We’d love to get the community behind them and help raise as much as we can on the night.
