Well, that was summer. Hope you enjoyed both days of it.

On a positive note, it's definitely going to be a "Sunday Roast Day" tomorrow........we've got Roast British beef and chicken this week.

As always, our meat comes from the brilliant Broadway butchers Didcot ltd

We've also got some fantastic specials available all weekend.....

Our pop-ups are as rare as rocking horse 💩 nowadays, so don't miss out!

A bit of a shuffle around inside (just to annoy the staff really) and all the upholstery cleaned..........I won't share the picture of the dirty water! 🤢🤢🤣

The weather can't make its mind up today.

We are covering all bases here........Roast British beef or pork & crackling for the traditionalists.

In the words of the great Tony Hadley "These are my salad days".........I've never had that many, to be honest. Hence, my rather chunky "winter coat".

It's definitely that time of year though. And we do a ruddy good salad!

From today, through to next Monday, we've got this cheeky little Greek number and a fantastic tuna Nicoise on the specials board.
........yes, it's more than acceptable to have a bowl of chips with them 😉
