🍻 We’re in for the 6th year running! 🍻
We’re so incredibly proud and excited to have once again made it into the Good B**r Guide 2027.
Looking back to 2020, when I decided that taking on a pub just after the first lockdown sounded like a fun idea… little did I know that a two-month temporary adventure while furloughed would turn into a full-time labour of love!
Since then, we’ve been incredibly lucky to have had some amazing recognition along the way:

To have our little community pub recognised by CAMRA is always such an honour. It’s something we never expect and certainly never take for granted.
A huge thank you to the South Oxfordshire branch of CAMRA, to all the amazing local breweries we’re lucky enough to work with — especially Amwell Springs and Loose Cannon, who have been regulars on our pumps from the very beginning — and, of course, to my small but incredibly hardworking team.
It definitely makes all those hours of line cleaning worth it… although I can’t say I always think that at the time! 😂
And finally, the biggest thank you of all to all our lovely customers. ❤️ Despite these difficult times, you continue to support your local community pub, and we genuinely couldn’t do it without you.
Six years in the Good B**r Guide, some very special awards, countless pints pulled and so many wonderful people through our doors — we’re incredibly grateful for every bit of it.
