Set in the heart of Exeter, our pub with rooms is a 2 minute walk from Exeter Central Station & Exeter St. Our central location makes our rooms the perfect base for your next business trip or holiday to explore all the beauty Devon has to offer. The City Gate is a favourite with the locals. Open all day, every day, offering everything from a pint of real ale or craft lager to cocktails and extensive wine list. Join us for a relaxing brunch, a lunch hour pit-stop or three course dinner. The ingredients in our food are important to us, only sourcing the best, local produce for our seasonal British menu, carefully designing our dishes so they are nothing but mouth-watering.
