Hi all,
I’ve been quiet on social for a while now as the exchange and move out has eventually happened at 49 Boutport St.
Many of you will have heard of the difficulties I had with potential buyers backing out at the eleventh hour. I’m pleased to say that a lovely local lady has now taken over the premises and is working hard to open as soon as possible.
Before too long, you’ll be able to get your perfect takeaway roast, come rain or shine, from Roast Barnstaple at 49 Boutport Street.
Please do continue to support local businesses, especially Ellie and her team.

We have some exciting news! We’ve taken over 49 Boutport street and are working hard to get it ready to open. Unfortunately this means we won’t be open for a little while. We’ll have an opening date for you ASAP. ☺️

💒 What a wonderful wedding we catered for on Saturday. It was so lovely to have all the Root’s staff together again. ❤️

💒 Starter of Pani Puri with a variety of tasty toppers.
💒 Main of Aubergine Fattah; a sumac roasted aubergine on a bed of za’atar chips with tahini yoghurt, pomegranate molasses, fresh pomegranate, marinated seeds and crispy onions.

💥Evening: MEXICAN FEAST to include two types of chilli; Bean & Chilli NON Carne, Chipotle roasted sweet potatoes, Fajita peppers and onions, Lime and parsley rice, and all the possible tasty mexi extras you can think of including Pineapple salsa 😋
