* Serving real ales, wines, spirits, cocktails, soft drinks and snacks
* Keeping the bar and dining areas clean, tidy and inviting

* Getting to know our regulars and helping create a welcoming community atmosphere
* Working as part of a close-knit team during busy services

* Previous bar, waiting or hospitality experience, although full training can be provided for the right person
* A warm, personable nature and excellent customer service skills
* Confidence working in a busy pub environment
* A good knowledge and enthusiasm for drinks
* Basic numeracy and confidence handling payments
* Reliability and a willingness to lend a hand wherever needed
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and other busy periods

Most importantly, you’ll enjoy people. Our pub is about conversation, character and community, and we want our team to reflect that.

* Part-time hours to suit
* A friendly, welcoming working environment
* The chance to become part of a proper local pub and its community
* Training and support where needed
