🥚 Well… they’ve officially made their debut! 🥚

Our homemade buffet Scotch eggs went out for the very first time yesterday as part of a birthday buffet — and we were rather pleased with how these little beauties turned out! 😍

Made from scratch, perfectly sized for a buffet and just look at those gorgeous golden centres. 🧑🏻‍🍳

All these lovely eggs were as always supplied by Farmer Anne Clipston Egg Company 🐔

I think these might just have earned themselves a permanent place on the Quiche & Cake buffet menu! ❤️

🥐 Had to save these beauties from going in the bin! 🥐

A couple of our filled croissants hadn’t sold, so we brought them home rather than let them go to waste.

10 minutes in the oven at 160°C, lightly covered with foil, then uncovered for the last 2 minutes…

Oh my goodness — absolutely delicious! 😋
Warm, buttery croissant with lovely melted cheese and ham. 🧀🥓

And at only £3 each, what a snack! ❤️

Maybe they just need a little more love in the ‘Stocked Fridge’! 😂

🐔Just a little reminder from us at the Quiche & Cake and Clipston Egg Company 🐔

The Clipston Egg Co and Quiche & Cake ‘Stocked Fridge’ are two separate businesses, so please make sure your payment goes to the correct one when you’re picking up your goodies.

Eggs = Clipston Egg Co 🍳
Anything from the
‘Stocked Fridge’ = Quiche & Cake 🍰

We know it’s easily done, especially when you’re grabbing a few things at once, but keeping the payments separate really helps us both keep everything straight.

Thank you so much for your understanding and for supporting two little local businesses. ❤️
