Not the result we all wanted or if I’m honest expected!
💔 Absolutely gutted… but what an incredible journey it has been.
As the dust settles, I just want to say a heartfelt thank you to the wonderful community of Dereham. Over the last month, you’ve turned The Tavern into something truly special. The atmosphere, the passion, the laughter, the singing and the memories are something none of us will ever forget.
A massive thank you goes to:

🎵 Ben Duncan, our brilliant sound man, who made every matchday feel like a major event.

🫧 Mick the Bubbles, who brought smiles to faces of all ages.
👏 And finally… the biggest thank you of all goes to my amazing wife – “The Boss.” She’s put up with one very grumpy old landlord over the last few weeks and has been there every step of the way. None of this would have been possible without her.
We dared to dream, and although it wasn’t to be, together we created something that people will be talking about for years to come.
So, would we do it all again?
