We are a cosy, yet stylish village pub set in the heart of the beautiful village of Aston on Trent. We pride ourselves with providing a warm and friendly welcome to all customers, always aiming for new customers to want to become our regulars…and return again. We open for food between 12-2pm and 6-9pm Monday-Saturday and 12-5pm on a
Sunday plating up succulent Sunday roasts. Alongside our traditional main meals, we also serve a range of sharing platters, lite bite toasties and salads and provide a kids menu. Look out for our fab deals across the week by heading to our website – including our week night set menu and 2 steaks and a bottle of wine for £30 to end your Friday and Saturday evenings in style. With a comfortable and cosy function room available to book we additionally have a buffet menu to suit all requests, both cold and hot, simple and sophisticated. Being a local village pub we pride ourselves with a range of fine and local cask ales yet modernise ourselves with an extensive wine list and cosmopolitan gin and cocktail menu to experience outside in our sunny beer garden amongst the warmer months or snuggled indoors comforted by a settee and a fire pit amongst the chillier ones. We aim to provide regular events and entertainment including our popular coffee and cake mornings from 10am on Tuesday and Friday, a competitive Tuesday evening Quiz Night, live entertainment on Saturdays and a fun and sociable games night to finish off the weekend on a Sunday. Children are welcome within the Malt, we are happy to accommodate them with colouring and games however we ask for them to be supervised at all times.
