(842)

Discover an incomparable world of opulence and fine dining in Derby’s oldest and newest restaurant. Derby’s best loved Indian restaurant, established for over 30 years on Midland Road, has moved but a few doors away, but what a transformation! To enter the new Shalimar Gold restaurant is a revelation. You will find a sumptuous interior, impeccable service, fabulous food, and the warmest welcome in Derby. Discover intriguing artworks, and even poetry themed on the ‘Romance of Shalimar’ amidst luxurious bespoke furniture and soft lighting, set out in a subtle arrangement of intimate spaces. One of the first things a diner will notice is this great attention to detail, not only in the overall design, but in the beautifully laid tables, the faultless service, the dark evening dress of the staff, and even the white gloves worn when handling the silver! And a glance at the well presented menu will reassure even the most fastidious diner, and the sternest food critic that this is a restaurant that knows what it is about.
