PUTTING DERBY ON THE MAP 📍

Being an ambassador for Derby has always been part of our goal at The Pepperpot. Our ambition has never been limited by our postcode. We want to build a restaurant with a national reputation while being proudly rooted here in Derby

We want The Pepperpot to be somewhere people travel to experience. Somewhere that gives people another reason to come to Derby, spend time in our city and discover everything else that is happening here

That’s why it means so much to see The Pepperpot featured in The Standard this week as part of its guide to Derby as one of the UK’s emerging city break destinations

There’s a real sense that something is happening in Derby right now. Our food and drink scene is growing, our cultural offering is getting stronger and there is a renewed confidence about what this city has to offer

THE CROWN IS OURS TO DEFEND! 👑

We’re incredibly proud to announce that The Pepperpot has been selected once again as a finalist for Restaurant of the Year at the Marketing Derby Food & Drink Awards 2026

Restaurant of the Year is the most prestigious award of the night, and after having the incredible honour of winning the title in 2025, we’re back in the final for 2026 with the chance to defend our crown

To be recognised at this level for a second year running means a huge amount to us. It’s a testament to our fantastic team and to the continued support of every guest who chooses to dine, celebrate and spend their time with us❤️
