We know it’s late in the day but we’ve made the decision to close for the day. It’s hot and we’ve found a fantastic place to sit by the canal at canalhousebar.

Cassi’s drunk, Michael’s drunk, Tracey’s drunk & Dec’s sanity is slipping.

We will be closing our doors from 7pm tomorrow as we swap pulling pints for pulling on our England shirts and cheering for the Three Lions 🦁

Today we commemorate and pay our respects to all those who have served, and those who continue to serve, in our Armed Forces.

To mark the occasion, we’ve been serving Victory Ale from RBAbrewery over the last few days - a fitting beer for today’s celebrations.

We are pleased and excited to announce it is us who have submitted this planning application

We are hoping to expand our family business and bring something new and exciting to Allestree and the surrounding area.

Everyone who has visited ourselves or The Hoptimist - Draycott will know what we are about and what we could potentially bring to the area

Finally just to be clear, nothing will change at either of our pubs, in Draycott and Spondon ❤️
