So England have succeeded in getting the Bronze, but tonight we find out who the 1st place World Cup winner is! There'll be a lot of in-house interest as our very own Christine has drawn Argentina in the Pub Sweepstake whilst Mike (Pen-y-Bryn) has drawn Spain. and between them they'll win £210 but we have to wait to see who gets the £140 and who gets the £70! Whoever the big winner is will surely get the rest of us a drink - well you never know!
Whatever happens we've got a selection of curries available from 7 this evening - from a mild and creamy Korma, a medium Masala, a hot and spicy Madras right up to a mega-hot and spicy Vindaloo! All served with Pilau rice, Mango Chutney, and your choice of Pappadums or Naan Bread. At just £8 a head it's got to be THE best Sunday night bargain around.

Tonight's the night that England take on Argentina in the semi-final of the World Cup for the chance to take on Spain after their victory over favourites France last night. Of course we'll be showing the game live on our big screens and for those getting a bit peckish we've got filled rolls from just £1.95 or for those who want something hot you can get Sausage (2) Chips and Chinese curry sauce with a round of bread & butter for just a fiver!

What a great day of sport there is today - and we're showing all the Nations Cup rugby games followed by THE football game that decides if England go on to the semi finals of the World Cup! Kitchen will be open this evening from 5:30 to 8:30pm, and we still have places left for tomorrows Sunday lunches.

Things are really revving up in the World Cup and it's the last two games of the 16s this evening starting with Argentina vs Egypt at 5pm and Switzerland vs Columbia at 9pm.

Thursday sees the first of the quarter finals when the action begins with France vs Morocco, also at 9pm.

The school holidays will soon be upon us (the kids in Scotland have already started theirs), so from next Monday (13th) we'll be starting our Summer opening hours (Lunch served 12:30 to 2:30 and evening meals from 5.:30 to 8:30pm every weekday except Tuesdays.)

Well it's looking like the Mexico-England World Cup clash may be brought forward to 7pm UK time because of severe weather forecast to due hit the region around the Azteca Stadium . . . such being the case we'll be having an impromptu bargain supper night to accompany the game. Just a quick reminder that it's our regular Friday afternoon Bingo at 2:30pm today - and once again we've got our Bingo Special on - Sausage Chips & Curry Sauce (or baked beans) with bread and butter for just a fiver! Just remember our kitchen closes at 2:30 so orders for food need to be in by 2pm. As always on a Friday there's also the choice of a large fish and chips with peas for just a tenner as well as a host of other dishes on our menu.
