Farewell to Bowlers—A showcase of their b**rs for the last time Thursday 29th October

A rare opportunity to sample 5 Bowler’s b**r in one place for the last time. John & Dave have decided to move onto other projects and we wish them the best of luck for the future.
Their b**rs have been enthusiastically received both here at the Giraffe and at the other local pubs in the area and will be sadly missed.

Join us in thanking them for their unstinting work in providing the Deepings with an array of dynamic, unusual and generally superb b**rs. 7pm onwards.

Nicely Spicy night. That went well! We could have shown a before picture but actually we ate it a bit quick! Samosas, marrow and tomato stew, chicken korma, meat curry with roast potatoes, aloo gobie and a variety of rice and onion bhajees. Brill.

Today is the day that Lexy and Gary take part in The Isles of Scilly Swim Challenge in support of local charity Don't Lose Hope. It's a big challenge involving swimming 15km from one island to another one. Hopefully the offshore drift won't take them to the Irish coast!

So today's Sunday Club will be used to raise a few quid for them. On offer will be the usual cheese, nibbles and shenanigans with our collection jar front and centre.

Feel free to bring something nice to share. See you from 3pm.
