Deal, we’d really love your support this Saturday. 🇳🇵❤️

This Saturday, 29th August, Deal Rotary Club will be in Deal High Street from 9am–2pm, raising money to support communities in Nepal at an incredibly difficult time.

There is a long and special bond between Britain and Nepal. The Gurkhas have stood alongside us in some of our darkest hours, and now, when people in Nepal need help, we would love to see our local community come together and show that support in return.

If you’re heading into town, please stop by, say hello and donate whatever you can. Every £1, every conversation and every share helps.

You don’t need to make a huge donation to make a difference….this is simply about Deal doing what it does best: showing up for people when it matters.

There’s something rather special about Deal. 🌊💙

Maybe we’re biased, but after almost 40 years here, we still think our little corner of the Kent coast is pretty hard to beat.

What a wonderful day yesterday for our Deal community! 💙

While our kitchen was busy and our fabulous Dunkerley’s team were looking after everyone on the seafront, there was plenty happening just around the corner at the Deal Hospital Fete, raising important funds to support our local hospital facilities.

Mr Dunkerley, along with granddaughter Kairi, had been busy ticketing up the fantastic array of prizes ahead of the festivities. Alongside the Rotary Club of Deal and so many brilliant local stallholders, contributors and volunteers, it was wonderful to see the community come together for such an important local cause.

We’re delighted to share that the Rotary Club of Deal alone raised just under £600 for Deal Hospital, with the final total raised across all of yesterday’s stalls and activities still to be confirmed. 👏💙

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, organised, bought tickets or simply came along to show their support. ❤️

And, of course, the important news… Fred the Ted has officially found his new home! 🧸😂

Days like these are a lovely reminder of what makes Deal such a special place to live, work and visit.
