Looking for a regular spot to run your next campaign or tabletop battle? 🎲⚔️

We’ve had quite a few of you ask about hosting your own private gaming groups at the café, whether that’s a regular Dungeons & Dragons campaign, a Warhammer clash, or any other tabletop session.

We’d love to make space for your group! Since we’ll need to keep a team member on-site to host, there will be a small cost (either per player or as a flat group rate), and food and drinks will be fully available to keep everyone fueled throughout your session.

☀️🪏THE NEXT DAWLISH DIG🪏☀️

A few people have asked when the next WADE dig of the rubble island in the brook will be taking place…

As you may have noticed, we haven’t had much rain for quite some time now, which means that the two piles of re-distributed rubble from the previous dig is still waiting in the bottom bay of the brook to be washed out to sea, so until this reduces down, we can’t add to it.

It has also been far too hot to safely dig anyway, but in the meantime the wonderful WADE volunteers have been out and about regularly removing rubbish from the river; umbrellas, handheld fans, clothing and most worryingly, fishing line.

Please do not fish in the brook! ⛔️🎣⛔️

As a side note for those that don’t know, the rubble can’t be removed from the brook without further permits from the Environment Agency and utterly eye popping transportation and removal costs… so you might want to start practicing your rain dance soon!
