So 24hours for a ‘quick job’ moving our counter (and the rest) was a little ambitious.. and how gutted are we that we missed visiting Dawlish today 😭 but it is done 🙌🏽
The photos really don’t show how much it has improved the shop floor space but it’s going to make the biggest difference for our customers with wheelchairs and pushchairs 💕

Everything is in place and looking great so it’s just a matter of getting things wired and plumbed in, finding a new home for all our bits and pieces and covering the filled holes with posters etc until I can get a fresh lick of paint on them 🤫

Thankyou so much to everyone who came along to see us at the annual Luscombe Castle Charity event today! Super lovey that the sun joined us too 🍦🏰☀️
This event is such a lush, intimate community gathering in the beautiful, pristine castle grounds. Really well organised and thought out, it’s a pleasure to return year after year and is definitely one of our favourites!✨

It’s a shame the freezer gave up before we were ready to 😂 luckily it lasted long enough until the very last few scoops! I absolutely love everyone who was happy with a tub of ‘Gelato Soup’ at the end, and those of you who tried the Unicorn flavour because it was all we had left.. and came back to tell us how much you enjoyed it! 🦄✨ The children didn’t mind at all, and for the grown ups it was an ideal opportunity to either enjoy a taste of nostalgia or see what all the fuss is about and why children LOVE blue icecream so much 💙🍦

We’ve got a cabinet of fresh flavours for you this week, Jack is churning away in our production kitchen with some support from the team to keep up with demand for Icecream in this long awaited heat wave ☀️🍦🙌🏽
Meanwhile at the shop we’ve been working on our Matcha game 🍵 and frantically scoopin’ wafflin’ shakin’ and sundaein’ through the half term🍦🧇🥤🍨

Our Open hours are 11~5 Monday~Thursday
11~9 Friday~Sunday with local dessert deliveries from 6pm 📲goodeats.io/localscoop

📣We will be open from 10am this Thursday for a one off morning with special guest ‘Uncle Tacko’ and his whimsical mechanical puppet show 🎭
We’re really looking forward to this, it’s a free show, we do have limited seating so it would be great to know if you’re planning to pop down for it
The show will start at 10:30am, if you would like to get a drink or a breakfast scoop before we’ll be serving until the show begins🍦☕️✨

We almost made it! But even with pausing deliveries again we didn’t have enough gelato to make it through to 9pm tonight (Sunday)

The whole team have worked ridiculous hours this week in preparation for this busy weekend of sunshine and events and we can not believe the amount of icecream you have all gotten through 🥹 thankyou so much for an incredible new record breaking weekend for our lil biz 🍦✨

We will be up before dawn tomorrow churning some fresh flavours for you, so sorry if you visited the shop this afternoon and left disappointed. Nothing could have prepared us more for the luck of this weather arriving in time for our biggest event of the year landing on a bank holiday weekend and everyone queuing to support us like you have 💕

It’s been a busy lil week for us at Scoop HQ! And this Icecream Weather is here to stay for the Bank Holiday and Half Term week 🙌🏽

Apologies if you’re waiting on a response from us to any emails or messages, if we don’t get to you before we will be dedicating Tuesday to making sure our emails and admin are all in order 💚

Lovely to see so many familiar faces coming to find us at the show ✨
