🎮 Mario Kart Cake 🎮

Finnley asked specifically for ‘Rainbow Road’ themed Mario kart so that is what he got!

Cake decorating in a heatwave is no joke 😅 fully finished in ganache to survive an hours drive and full day of sitting out in this crazy (not very British) weather ☀️🕶️

Happy 21st Birthday, Harry!

✨ And with that, my last cake of 2025 ✨
Just a quick one to say a HUGE thank you to all who supported me and my little business in 2025. Whether that was ordering a cake, just simply recommending me to someone or liking/sharing my posts, it has really meant a lot and my confidence has been boosted massively.

💍💒 Wedding Cake 💒💍

Congratulations to the new, Mr and Mrs Peck 🤍

My last wedding cake of the year (currently) and what a cake to finish with. This was for my twin Sister and new Brother-in-Law. They weren’t 100% on what design they wanted only the flavour. Chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate (with a small bit of salted caramel). I got to use my new Hoop separator and stand, which will now be available for future cakes too.

The second cake of the weekend. The theme was Man City, without the Man City part. I think it worked 👌🏼

Sponge was carrot cake which is one of my personal favorites. I always make it with raisins unless asked otherwise which can be controversial (I didn’t realise this until making cakes as a business 😅). Do you like it with or without?

✨ 18th Birthday Cake ✨

Happy 18th Birthday, Luke 🥳

The first of 2 cakes this week. I was asked for a black and gold cake so, of course, that is what I went with! The sponge for this was my most popular flavour choice of chocolate. Paired with my chocolate buttercream (which even I can’t resist and am always super happy when there is a little left over 🤫) it is a winner for any chocolate lover 👌🏼

✨ A Sweet Promise ✨

It was a cupcake week, last week. But in true Ashleigh style, I forgot to take photos before they left my hands (note to self: must get better at social media) 🤦🏼‍♀️

However, for some reason after my most recent wedding cake, I have been asked several times “I bet you charged loads for that? Especially as it was a wedding!”… well actually, no. I didn’t.

Whether you’re celebrating “I do” or another wonderful year around the sun, your cake should be special — not more expensive just because of the occasion.

At Little John’s, wedding cakes are priced the same as birthday cakes of equal size and design. Because love and joy are equally worth celebrating… and unique, personalised cakes should be equal too. This may sound cheesy, but I don’t want anyone thinking that I charge depending on the occasion. I believe everyone should just charge their worth. This is all.
