🥔💛 BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY – WE’RE AT SAM FOREVER 18! 💛🥔

This Monday, The Tater Hut will be at Sam Forever 18 at The Wheatsheaf, Garstang 💛

It’s the final day of their amazing 3-day charity event, with Monday all about the Family Fun Day & Dog Show 🐶🎉

There’ll be games, activities, stalls, raffles, refreshments and plenty going on for the whole family – all while remembering Sam and supporting local charities and good causes 💛

And of course, we’ll be there serving up our oven-baked jacket potatoes with a selection of toppings throughout the day 🥔💛

We’re at Monton Soul & Pop Festival this Sunday 30th August! 🎉

There’s a brilliant line-up with Kenny Thomas, Odyssey, Pauline Henry – The Chimes, Stax of Soul and Natural Soul, plus DJs, bars, ice cream and plenty going on throughout the day!

We’ll be there serving our loaded jacket potatoes, including our special for the day…

🌟 August Bank Holiday Charity Weekend at The Wheatsheaf 🌟

This August Bank Holiday (Saturday–Monday), The Wheatsheaf will once again be hosting a very special charity event.

Following the incredible success of our last fundraiser, where, together, we raised nearly £15,000 for the Matthew Hesmondhalgh CRY charity, we’re coming together again for local causes that are just as close to our hearts.

We’re also incredibly proud to share that the money raised from our last event has already been put to amazing use. It has helped fund a full weekend of heart screening at Garstang High School this October, giving young people in our community access to potentially life-saving checks.

This is exactly why we do what we do, turning your support into something that can genuinely make a difference 💙

This year’s event will be held in honour of Sam Dodd, who sadly passed away in July 2024 at just 18 years old. ❤️

While around 50% of all funds raised will go to The Matthew Hesmondhalgh Memorial Fund - CRY, the remaining 50% will be shared between local charities and organisations that meant something to Sam and his community:

St Thomas's Church, Garstang – where Sam was laid to rest, helping improve access during wetter months

Team Kirkland (Kirkland & Catterall School) – where Sam attended

Garstang Veterans – recognising Sam’s family ties to the armed forces

Brian House Children's Hospice – supporting young lives and families

Garstang Community Sports Hub Juniors Section – helping reach and support local young people

We’ve got a full weekend planned, with acts, entertainment, and events to be announced over the coming weeks — including a family fun day 🎉

🥔 What a weekend at Cromford Steam Rally! 🚜

To sell out on the first day was an achievement in itself, but after an early morning trip to the local wholesalers to restock, opening around an hour and a half later than planned… we somehow managed to sell out again!

We genuinely can’t thank everyone enough for the incredible support this weekend. We never imagined such an amazing response, and we’re so grateful to everyone who came to see us.
