🌸 Meet Michael! 👋

Michael started with us back of house with dishes and now helps out across pretty much every part of the business.

From front of house and taking orders to stock control, maintenance, beer lines and even renovation rip-outs, he’s involved in a lot of the behind-the-scenes work that keeps the place running day to day — all while studying engineering at college.

Eight months in and he’s become a big part of the team here at Thai Orchid 🇹🇭

Favourite dish? Chicken Fried Rice. 🍳

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone supporting us lately 💛

It’s been a buzzing few weeks and great to see so many familiar and new faces through the doors. We really appreciate everyone choosing us — whether that’s dining in, ordering a takeaway, or simply recommending us to others.

We’ve been putting a lot back into the place recently, so the kind words and support means a lot.

A big thank you to all of our team as well, especially for all the hard work that’s helped get us to where we are — we couldn’t do it without you 🙏

🎉 Happy 80th Birthday to Eric! 🎉

The face many of you will recognise behind the bar — and the man who worked tirelessly to help build what Thai Orchid & The Murray Arms are today 💛

You might know him from the countless pints he’s poured (and enjoyed) over the years, his dad jokes, or the stories of Thailand shared across the bar 🇹🇭

From his parents running the building as the local post office, to transforming it into the Murray Arms pub, and later helping shape it into the family-run Thai restaurant and pub we know today, Eric has been at the heart of it all.
