This private dining experience was created by Gerry Goldwyre after winning Masterchef in 1994. Setting up this page is a little worrying. The capacity of this "restaurant" is limited by local planning policy and the size of the dining table. It does make for a great night out with friends, you just have to find a group of 12. Less is OK, but it's more expensive per head. The restaurant ch
arges £55 pp for a booking of 12 people and this covers canapés, starter, sorbet, main course, pudding, tea/coffee home made fudge, all soft drinks and the use of the facility exclusively to your group. The restaurant is not licensed therefore you order your own wine to be delivered and pay the supplier directly. Wine appreciation is a popular feature in the restaurant, since everyone now knows their Sauvingnon's from their Sancerre's. But please, look in your wine cellar and bring your best. There are options, such as, how about cooking yourself? Bring your own chef and just hire the facility. Training days, these are great fun, book your team and Gerry will set up a few cooking tasks that challenge your team skills. The water tower next door is worth a visit, if there's no one in residence you can take a tour. There are 2 bedrooms available for overnight stay too.
