🍔 Catering Crew Member Wanted (£13–14.50/hr)
23 hours a week • 3 days • Mon–Sat rotation
Dalkeith - 7am to 3.30pm
Roll On Kitchen is looking for someone who loves good food, good chat, and getting properly stuck in. We’re a small, lively catering unit — no wheels, no drama — just solid graft, great flavours, and a team that actually enjoys working together.
⭐ What you’ll be doing
- Prepping, cooking, serving, and keeping the place looking sharp
- Bringing good energy to busy service
- Jumping in wherever needed — everyone mucks in
- Driving the van to and from pitch
⭐ What we’re looking for
- A can‑do attitude
- A love for good food
- Reliability and good timekeeping
- Someone who stays cool when it gets busy
- Food hygiene awareness (or happy to learn)
- Driving Licence
⭐ What you get
- £13–14.50/hr depending on experience
- A fair rota 3‑days over Mon-Sat
- Training and support from a friendly crew

Sad to read tonight that Cuckoo's Bakery is closing down.
We stocked their cupcakes in the Bothy. They were exceptional.
Sad to see another business taking the decision.
It's tough out there.

Today is the last day we open the doors to our customers.
I'm not going to lie. It's probably going to be an emotional day for me.
I hope you get a chance to pop along and see us.
We will be serving our breakfast menu all day plus burgers and a few other dishes.
We will be closing the doors at 2pm.
Many thanks for your patronage and banter.
Its been a blast.

Our kitchen will close early today at 1pm.

We'll be open until 3pm for drinks and cake.

We'll be open again tomorrow from 9am to 2pm

With a heavy heart, the time has come for us to close the doors on Pickers Bothy. Our last day will be Saturday 11th of May.

I really feel for the team who have given their all to make the Bothy a success. I'd like to thank the everyone who has been part of the journey and wish them the best in the future - they'll do anyone proud (hint, hint - anyone recruiting?)

Remember we will be here all next week so we'd love to see you.
